While Assoc. Prof Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, Director of the IPQ, outlined several methods for making UUM more competitive based on the quality agenda, namely transformation. This could be done by improving the existing procedures of the ISO 9001:2008 and make it as 'Best Management Practices', encouraging more PTJ to obtain 5S/QE MPC certification, and increasing the number of PTJ involved in the ICC which is the heart of innovation.
