UUM Accounting & Finance subjects once again made it to the top 200 world’s best QS World University Rankings by Subject 2016. The result was released on 22 March 2016 at www.topuniversities.com.
This is the second time in a row, UUM’s Accounting & Finance subjects made it into the world’s top 200 since 2015 at the same position. Getting into the list enables UUM to use the official QS badge from http://www.iu.qs.com/2016-rankings-by-subject-badges/ and its manual.
In 2016, QS has listed another 6 additional subjects to the rankings. 2,691 out of 4,226 universities passed the qualification assessment and only 945 universities were listed successfully.
QS World University Rankings by Subject takes into account four main indicators - Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Citation per Paper and h-index. However, each subject was assessed with its own weightings.
Modern Languages, Computer Sciences & Information System, Mathematics, Business & Management Studies, Communication & Media Studies, Development Studies, Education, Economics & Econometrics, dan Social Policy & Administration were the other 9 subjects listed within the radar of QS World University Rankings by Subject.

IPQ hopes this success will be able to encourage other Schools to keep striving and plan their strategies to ensure their subjects to be listed in the near future.
