IPQ Welfare Club Conducted IPQ Cares Programme

The Welfare and Recreation Club, Institute of Quality Management has recently held a programme – “Ramadhan Contribution Ceremony – IPQ Cares”. The programme was intended to 110 cleaning staff from Uniutama Property Sdn. Bhd. (UPSB) and 25 others from the community living in Changlun area identified having low income.

The Director of IPQ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah in his opening speech thanked all IPQ members, UUM denizens and the community for their contributions. IPQ was able to collect an amount of RM2,840.00  from the contributions. “Thank you to all UPSB cleaning staff for the commitment given to ensure the campus stays green, clean and comfortable. Your commitment has enabled UUM to be placed at best 44th in the UI GreenMetric, 137th Best in Asia and 701+ Best in the World Best from 35,000 universities worldwide,” he added.

IPQ Welfare Club would also like to extend our gratitude for the contributions from JPP, CEDI, CUIC, CETMA, UTLC, RIMC, NCRC, ITU-UUM, IPDM, UUMPress, Registrar’s Training Unit, Innovation Centre, UUMIT and others for making this programme a reality. The event concluded with rice bag presentation to the UPSB staff and a photoshoot session.
