The Welfare and Recreation Club, Institute of Quality Management held 2016 IPQ Family Iftar on 23rd June 2016 at Angsana Hall, EDC Hotel & Residence, UUM.
The event aimed to gather the staff and their family members. A total of 100 members together with the Director of IPQ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah attended the iftar. Dr. Haim expressed his gratitude to all IPQ members for their commitment in realizing the agendas entrusted by the University to IPQ. Apart from that, he also thanked the family members for their endless support to their family and being understanding for allowing their family members to attend to their duties during weekends and late after office hours.
He also presented rewards and awards for the excellent staff. Among the awards presented are the Staff of the Month for the month of June to En Budiman Syuwari Budiman Sobri, 5S Award (April-June to the best person in charge was awarded to Cik Ku Ainarohaya Ku Aziz (BDSG 5S Zone), Best Staff Desk Award to Puan Siti Hajar Mat Isa, Innovation Award - Individual category to En. Shahrin Azly Muhamad Yusuf (IPQ Recycle Notebook), Innovation Award – Best Zone category to BSKK ICC Project “Masa Penyediaan Laporan Mesyuarat Majlis Kualiti yang Panjang.” Meanwhile, the best committee award goes to the 5S Audit Committee - Cik Norsila Ellias (BSKK) and the Best Zone also goes to BSKK. The ceremony continues with Duit Raya presentation to IPQ staff’s children. A Special Gift was also presented to Tuan Haji Yahaya Ismail who is relocated to UUMIT.
The event continues with montage screening of the activities held at IPQ for the past 6 months in the year 2016 from the Welfare and Recreational Club. In order to make the event meaningful, a session of tazkirah was conducted by Dr Mohd Nizho Abdul Rahman, Senior Lecturer from the School of General Studies, UUM CAS. He explained the approaches to gain the blessings of Ramadhan and guidance to discover the night of Lailatul Qadr.
As a token of appreciation, Dr. Mohd Nidzo was presented with souvenirs from IPQ. The event later continues with iftar and Maghrib prayers. The event ended with photography sessions with IPQ members and family at approximately 8.40 p.m.
