A briefing about employment was recently held at Main Meeting Room, Institute of Quality Management to further ensure the smooth running of the management in IPQ. The briefing which was attended by all the IPQ staff members aimed to enhance the staff understanding with regard to the employment at UUM.
The IPQ Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah said, staff should have clear understanding and increase their knowledge with regard to their roles and responsibilities. He also hopes that everyone at IPQ possesses good discipline and characteristics to further offer the positive implication in their work quality.
At the same briefing, various issues such as employment processes, guidelines for civil servants, pensions, contract staff extension, promotion processes and leaves were discussed. The briefing was conducted by Tuan Haji Redzuan Ishak, Senior Deputy Registrar and Encik Muhammad Iskandar Zulkarnain b Muhammad Suhaimi, Chief Assistant Registrar from the Registrar’s Department.
As one of the department in UUM, IPQ bear the responsibilities to ensure the staff are committed and dedicated to ascertain they are at the highest level of commitment at their work. This is crucial in order to provide a positive impact to the department especially when IPQ is driving the University’s important agendas in aligning it to become the Eminent Management University.
