The Innovative and Creative Circles (ICC) road show begins its’ first phase on the 27th and 28th September 2016 at the IPQ Main Meeting Room with four ICC teams from three Centre of Authorities – School of Economics, Finance and Banking (SEFB), the Department of Security and U-Assist. The sequel of the road show will be held in October 2016.
The main objective of the road show is to share experiences and techniques to prepare an effective ICC report. The briefing was conducted by Puan Siti Hajar Mat Isa (IPQ Social Research Officer) who is also the team leader for IPQ AURA ICC team and Puan Nurul Asyiqin Muhamad Zaini (IPQ Assistant Administrative Officer), also a member of IPQ AURA ICC team. Besides that, Dr. Noor Hasmini Hj. Abd Ghani, Deputy Director of IPQ Quality Excellence System Division also shared the details of ICC criteria during the road show. The Director of IPQ, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah in his speech said, “ICC should be a continuous effort to further develop creative ideas and innovation in this university. Without ICC, innovation will just fade away”. He also added that all PTJ are encouraged to keep the motivation to create their ICC team in order to prolong the innovation and creative culture in UUM.
Hopefully with the road show, each PTJ will not only be able to prepare in advance, but to also gain more participation from other PTJ for the upcoming 2017 Open ICC Convention. The winning team from this convention will represent UUM at the 2017 Public Universities ICC Convention.
