The Institute of Quality and Management (IPQ) has conducted a reflection meeting on Quality Apprenticeship Programme (QAP) 2016 at its Executive Meeting Room I, on Monday 19 December 2016.

QAP is a program which was held to produce as many as possible UUM undergraduates with extensive knowledge on quality management, specifically with the ISO certification, 5S / QE, and the Innovative and Creative Group (KIK). In addition to that, QAP not only aims to provide added value to the degree that the graduates will obtain in the future, but also to make them valuable assets to the institution and the country.

During the meeting, the Director of IPQ, Professor Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah emphasized that the purpose for establishing QAP is to provide a platform to expose the participants with knowledge related to quality management under the operation of IPQ. In addition, this program has also provided the participants the opportunity to be exposed to the fundamentals of quality management practiced in other organizations.

Throughout 2016, the IPQ has involved the QAP participants in some of its programs such as Internal Quality Audit ISO and 5S / QE, Roadshow KIK, and the latest was the Risk Assessment Workshop (Awareness on ISO 9001: 2015).

Based on the feedback provided by participants in the meeting, IPQ is committed to provide more interesting programs next year. In addition, a session of submission of certificate of participation was also held to honour the QAP participants’ involvement throughout 2016.

The IPQ wishes to thank all the participants who had given their highest commitment in every program organised and hopes that they will be more motivated to participate in the programs that have been planned for 2017.
