IPQ COLLABORATED WITH UTLC ORGANISED SERIES OF OBE WORKSHOPS FOR 7 CENTRES OF LEARNING IN UUM

The Institute of Quality Management (IPQ) in collaboration with the University Teaching and Learning Centre (UTLC) has organised a series of OBE workshops with 7 Schools of the University. The workshops started from 27 February and ended on 29 March 2017. The first OBE workshop was conducted on 27 Feb 2017 with the School of International Studies (SoIS), followed with the School of Government (SoG) on March 7, the School of Computing (SoC) on March 8, Tunku Putri Intan Safinaz School of Accounting (TISSA) on March 13, the School of Applied Psychology, Social Work and Policy (SAPSP) on March 27 and lastly on March 29 with the School of Multimedia Technology and Communication (SMMTC) and School of Creative Industry Management & Performing Arts (SCIMPA).

 The workshop aims to provide exposure to the lecturers to upload their course syllabus in the OBE system. There are two phases that each school needs to complete. In phase I the School needs to moderate the syllabi of its courses and upload them in the OBE system by 30 April 2017. In phase II the School needs to upload its SOWs and assessments in the OBE system by May 31, 2017, and the workshop will be conducted again in April for the remaining Schools.

IPQ thanked the Deans, Deputy Deans, Heads of Departments, Course Coordinators and Program Coordinators for their high commitment and support during the workshops.
