Arabic rice dish, roast lambs, laksa, fried kuetiau and satay were some of the dishes served to about 300 invited guests who attended IPQ Raya Banquet on 24 July 2017. This Hari Raya feast is a traditional program held annually since 2015 by the Welfare & Recreation Club of IPQ, to provide its staff with the opportunity to forge closer ties among its staff and the invited guests consisting of the Heads of PTJs, Deans, auditors from the Administration and Academic units who have been providing support to IPQ in the success of the university's strategic agenda.
This year, UUM will undergo the certification transition of ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015 which is more focused on the combination of process and 'risk-based analysis' approaches using the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" at all levels in the University. Accordingly, an Academic Risk Analysis Workshop was held on 10 July 2017 at the Executive Meeting Room, IPQ.
In keeping with the efforts to strengthen and sustain UUM's Quality Management System to meet international standards through ISO 9001 certification, IPQ is preparing the Academic Internal Auditors to perform internal auditing tasks through the certification transition phase of ISO 9001: 2008 to ISO 9001: 2015.
The stage 2 of Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015 was conducted from the 19 till 20 June 2017 at OYAGSB Main Meeting Room. The auditing process was carried out by Mr. Shaiful Azmir Bin A. Rahman and Mr. Akmar Hisham Bin Saat from SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd.
